After 15 years as a special education teacher in public schools, Meredith founded Scenic Land Learning to provide the individualized instruction and supportive learning environment she believes students need to thrive. What began as evening tutoring sessions in December of 2025 has grown into a full-time learning center dedicated to creating learning experiences as unique as each child. Outside of work, Meredith enjoys supporting her 2 sons' individual passions, crocheting, and sharing this journey with her husband, a fellow former special education teacher and her biggest supporter.

Kristen is an experienced educator who has taught students from pre-K through 6th grade, with a strong passion for inclusive education and kindergarten readiness. She currently serves as the Youth Programs Manager for United Way of Northern Arizona, where she works to develop collaborative solutions that support children, families, and communities. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys exploring the forests near her Arizona home with her dog, Evie.

Mandi Roberson has been teaching for 16 years where she has taught students in kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades.  She also spent 3 years as an assistant principal before happily returning to the classroom to find better balance in life.  Mandi is married and has 2 kids, and 2 dogs that keep life fun.  She loves to travel and find new adventures. She brings that sense of curiosity and andventure to the students in her class.  Above all, she's passionate about making sure EVERY learner gets the support they need to succeed.

Dixie Gray is a licensed educator and visionary leader with more than 30 years of experience teaching a wide range of subjects and supporting learners of all ages. Passionate about helping non-traditional learners reach their full potential, she has dedicated her career to creating effective educational opportunities and inspiring a love of learning. As Meredith’s mentor at the original Scenic Land School, Dixie played a key role in encouraging the creation of Scenic Land Learning and currently teaches at Athenaeum of Central Mississippi.

Lorraine is a dedicated educator with more than 40 years of teaching experience across multiple grade levels and states, specializing in supporting students with disabilities and individualized education plans. Even after retiring from a long teaching career in California public schools, she continues serving students as a substitute teacher. Lorraine supports Scenic Land Learning because she believes every child deserves the resources, support, and opportunities needed to succeed both within and beyond the classroom.
